Locked up upon his return to Bardo, Sheidheda is released by Clarke and Octavia and agrees to act as a distraction for them, but disappears after slaughtering several Disciples. Murphy tries to pretend that he thinks the Dark Commander is Emori returning after an argument, but Sheidheda doesn't buy it and walks in while Indra informs Murphy that he already knows the truth which Murphy had already guessed. Sheidheda stabs Gabriel several times before leaving him to die and chasing after Madi. Sheidheda wants assurances that Sanctum is his, they can destroy the Stone and the Disciples will never come back. Later, Sheidheda makes an announcement in Trig from the palace revealing his resurrection and Indra's lies about there being no more Commanders. With Earth running out of oil, a colonization mission was sent out on Eligius III to five potentially habitable worlds. After returning to Skyring centuries later, Hope finds Dev's body amongst the skeletons dug up by Orlando. Gaia mentions to Josephine Lightbourne (pretending to be Clarke) that Sheidheda is getting too strong and they need to perform the Separation Ritual to stop him. In turn, Murphy openly challenges the Dark Commander's claims and taunts him about the Grounders liking Lexa more than him. Abby becomes friends with Raven Reyes when she needs her mechanical expertise to try to get more information on what the 100 is dealing with on the ground. After Diyoza, Jade and the Sanctum guards rescue the prisoners, Tosh kills Rose before Octavia manages to snap Tosh's neck. The group eventually succeeds, but in the aftermath, Octavia is stabbed by Hope Diyoza and vanishes into the mysterious Anomaly. Though Raven Transcends as well, she joins Clarke's friends in choosing to return to human form to live out their lives on Earth. Sheidheda suggests that Cadogan send him instead, stating that he'd wanted no part of the fight before he'd know what was at stake: "transcend or die." Despite defeating Indra and her open hatred and previous imprisonment of him, the Dark Commander treats Indra with a degree of respect after she submits, even telling her not to clean the floors despite having ordered her to have Trikru, which she is a part of, do it and even knowing that she is always watching him and listening. She finally forgives Bellamy for Lincoln's death after he opened the bunker realizing that he would put his own life in danger just to save her and the Grounders. Aden is seen as polite and genuine when he speaks with, Lola Flanery as Madi Griffin (season 4–present): A 12-year-old Nightblood who Clarke meets 58 days after Praimfaya. Sheidheda offers to help Nelson get power, revealing that Wonkru is weak and the Eligius prisoners most likely have the guns. Zach McGowan, who recurred in the third, was promoted to the main cast for the fourth season. In the series finale, Clarke is the sole human not to achieve Transcendence, but her surviving friends decide to return to human form and join her in living out the rest of their lives on a regenerated Earth. In the second half of the two-part season finale, the group prepares for a final showdown as they begin to face the reality of their tragic situation. In "Nevermore", Monty is forced to kill his mother—who had taken A.L.I.E. Bellamy kidnaps Josephine in an effort to save Clarke, leading to a conversation between Bellamy and Josephine about the complexity of his relationship with Clarke. The Dark Commander opens fire on the Disciples' position, increasing tension between the two sides. Because so many Grounder and Arker lives were lost in the name of the Mountain Men's survival, both groups hold very negative views toward those residing in Mount Weather, although some people within the mountain actively reject treatment with the blood stolen from Grounders unless absolutely necessary, for moral reasons. He supports Ontari as the new Commander and attempts to track down Clarke who has escaped with the Flame. When Clarke's friends start a rebellion, Blythe Ann and her husband are amongst the first they tell the truth about the Primes to, including that Delilah is dead. He is freed from her control once she is defeated. Knowing from the Dark Commander that the Disciples will keep coming for her and unwilling to risk the people that she cares about, Madi uses the blade he left behind to transport herself to Bardo. As the Disciples arguing gets worse, the Dark Commander urges Indra to hurry. Sheidheda quickly dispatches the Disciples with their own weapons and then charges six more using one Disciple as a human shield. Sheidheda angrily states that he united the clans and the Flamekeepers had banded together to kill him as they were afraid of his ideas and they had killed Lexa for the same reason.
