I had skinny carrots and marinated for an hour and it worked great. But these ones taste JUST LIKE HOT DOGS!! They are so good!! The right flavor just wasn’t there or it wasnt strong enough. I put each carrot, (I had 5 left), in a sandwich ziplock baggie, distributed the marinade evenly between the 5 baggies, then squeezed out the air. The only thing I changed is that i did not peel them. They are awesome tasting. I’m interested in trying these out for camping, but am wondering how to make them a bit more quick, camping-friendly. I did the instant pot version followed by George Foreman grill; Made enough for leftovers. Also, I made a big batch, marinated for 6 hours, dried off the marinade and froze them laying flat in a freezer bag.
